2:55pm: This is fucking rediculous.

So I ordered my textbook for my English 101 class from Amazon.com on August 30th and paid extra money to have it's shipping 'expedited.'

So guess what.

Guessing?

It's Saturday, September 17th, and I have a response paper due in the class Monday morning. The mail came today and the book wasn't there. Ugh, I hate this garbage, and it's not my fault.

Dammit.

I'm sitting at work figuring out how to use the internet on the food-ordering computer. It's pretty nice. I obviously figured it out ;)

Still mad though, heh.

2:31pm: Money, Success, Fame, Glamour
In my life, things seem to be going pretty well I guess. I'm out of my dead-end job and working in a restaurant owned by the mob (I think), working on researching a book I plan to write soon, back in school, and going to see the Queen Mary and visit Joel again.

The first one, the new job, is wonderful. I'v enever been happier... and lazier. It's such an easy job, my at-work habits are slipping and I just tend to sit and do nothing most of the time during a shift when there are no customers. You know, 'earn my 3.90 an hour' or whatever.

I think the restaurant owners are mobsters. They're right out of The Suprano's or the Godfather series. Talking Italian all day, they're kind of scary. They don't talk much, but at least they're not around too much either. It all works out.

I'm starting to research a book on the history of the Carnival Cruise Line. They, recently, have become the most successful shipping line in the history of the world, and I know there's a market (in my nerdy ship-lover sector) for a book on the subject.

I just got some deck-plans for Carnival's ocean liner-turned cruise ship first ship, the Mardi Gras. I'm working on getting an interview with their head designer, Joe Farcus, and their CEO, Mickey Arison.

Class Is going really well. I'm taking some writing and journalism classes, and they're getting me in the good habit of writing a bit again. As you may know, I have to write on here for one of those classes, so... :::shrug:::

My math class is so easy, I feel like I'm sitting in classes surrounded by a bunch of semi-retarded ESL kids. Ugh. But I'm going to keep going to class and smiling at the teacher and pretending I don't already know this garbage, because I want my f-ing A on the GPA. Hehe!

So I'm going to Vegas again on October 26th. For five days (albeit a few on the Queen Mary). Am I stupid or what?

9:54am: Back to school
So I'm back in college again, hmmmm.

For my English class, I guess I have to have a Livejournal. Go figure. Fortunately, I had this old one; it will be used for my English assignments now, but I might go ahead and write some personal stuff again... who knows?
